We are a privately owned midstream company specializing in the transportation and marketing of petroleum products throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Founded in 2001, the company is led by Charles Reilly, who brings his 35 years of industry knowledge and professional relationships to everything we do.
Charles has been responsible for the vision, growth and continued success of Ponderosa Petroleum since its founding in 2001. He began his career in the early 1980s as a lab technician for EW Saybolt, testing residual fuel oils and asphalt. He spent a dozen years in positions of increasing responsibility at Great Plains Corp., becoming their vice president in 1987. After working as an independent contractor for Consolidated Oil & Transportation, he cofounded Pioneer Oil in 2000, selling his shares to pursue his own interest of founding Ponderosa Petroleum. Charles and his wife of nearly 35 years have two children and four grandchildren. He enjoys singing in church choir and bow hunting for pigs in Texas.
Tori has two decades of experience in managing finances for small businesses across a variety of industries. Her knowledge of accounting principles has proven invaluable to the growth of Ponderosa Petroleum since she joined the company in 2009. Tori enjoys spending time with her two daughters, golfing, and cycling.
Brian has 10 years of experience with a demonstrated history of success in the oil & energy industry. He received his bachelors of engineering from the University of Montana Tech in 2011. Brian started his career at a small refiner working in both wholesale and retail sales. Later being selected as an operating segment owner for an SAP project he gained valuable experience in accounting, finance and controls. After the conclusion of the project Brian integrated back into the refinery as a member of the management team responsible for the logistic department. Brian has been with Ponderosa Petroleum for a little over a year, managing sales and oversight of the transloading operations. Brian has a wife of 12 years and a 7 year old daughter. He spends his free time with his family outdoors hunting, fishing and being active at their church.
Brandon comes to Ponderosa Petroleum as a recent graduate from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in finance. During his time at KU, Brandon played for the club hockey team where he also served as club treasurer. During a summer off, he participated in a Summer Associates program for an insurance company where he led a group of 5 other interns to win the summer competition of revamping one of their insurance products. He also has a few years of experience in the construction industry where he worked on mostly residential jobs. Brandon enjoys playing hockey and golf in his free time.
Sean comes to us with 20 years of electrical background as well as having 7 years in the aerospace industry developing test procedures utilizing various types of pumps. As a mechanically inclined problem-solver, Sean quickly proved himself by improving processes and developing new efficiencies to the transloading division. His leisure activities include bow hunting, working out, and spending time with his wife and children.
Meegon’s transportation career began with the company’s founding in 2001, operating from the basement of their home in Parker, Colorado. She learned the business from the ground up, and has been a key part of the company’s success. Meegon is now semi-retired, and spends most of her time with her five grandchildren.
